The KBK Foundation has planned and implemented a host of health and quality of life programs and services that operate simultaneously with community revitalization efforts. Built on the premise of going beyond “bricks and sticks”, The KBK Foundation provides social supportive services to address many human issues with our residents.
The KBK Foundation believes that low and moderate-income families should have community resources that empower them to break down barriers to self-sufficiency and economic mobility. Community-based supportive services must support the entire family to ensure that adults receive education and work support and that children are engaged in education. Our approach, connects children, adults and families to an array of self-sufficiency support programs, such as job skills training, education, technology and computer literacy initiatives, reading comprehension, mental and physical health resources, and resident leadership development. Below is a portion of some of our social service initiatives.
